What should you know about me? I am a Certified Financial Planning Professional with a focus on Retirement Planning. I am an Engineer by degree, and I worked in that industry for six years after graduating from NCSU. I shifted to start working in the financial planning business in 2009 in Mississippi. In 2016, I moved back to my hometown, Raleigh, and joined BSG Advisers in 2018. I became a co-owner in 2020.
I wrote my book, Creating Your Retirement Vault in 2014, and "The Retirement Survival Guide" in 2015. I earned my Retirement Income Certified Professional Designation (RICP) in 2017. I also wrote an article for Forbes in 2019 - "Six-Steps To Retirement Income Made Simple" - which reached wider audiences with a straightforward roadmap for saving. More recently, I wrote "The Retirement Success Guide" in 2020. I married my high school crush and we have three adorable children.
